Born in Paris on 6 May 1970 to a Sicilian father and a mother from the Auvergne, trained at the ENSATT drama school and then at the FEMIS screenwriting workshop, Delphine Serina had acted alongside Alain Delon, Claudia Cardinale and Francis Huster. Television gave her her most followed part: five seasons, from 2004 to 2010, as the lawyer Élisabeth Viéville in Avocats et Associés, on France 2.
On screen she can be seen in Philippe de Broca's Le Bossu in 1997, in Étienne Chatiliez's Tanguy in 2001, where she plays Sophie, and in Monsieur je-sais-tout in 2018.
She died of cancer in Paris on 19 April 2020, at forty-nine. The stone in Division 44 carries nothing but “Delphine SERINA, 1970-2020”: dead seventeen days before her birthday, she appears there to have lived a year longer than she did.
